I learned music theory and ear training at age 11 and composed my first piece of music when I was 12 (a gospel hymn with four part harmony). In school, I was given formal training on the saxophone (alto, tenor, and baritone) and took private lessons from several professional saxophone players. I also took private piano and vocal lessons, taught myself guitar and bass, and learned how to play the flute. I won a over a dozen awards for musical performance and had more medals than anyone else (including the football jocks) in my high school.
When I was seventeen, I won a $5,000 scholarship from Berklee College of Music and tested out of seven semesters of music theory and ear training when I first arrived at this prestigious institution. This school is known internationally for its elite curriculum and advanced programs of study in music performance, composition, and production. I was the guy in the dormitory who was known as the guy that could create better 4 track recordings than anyone else. At Berklee, EVERYONE had a 4 track recorder.
During my thirty year career, I have collaborated with famous recording artists of many genres. First, Layla Hathaway (internationally famous for multiple R&B hits) recorded the vocals for a reggae-pop song I wrote entitled, “Eye to Eye.” In addition, I played in David Kersch's band when his nationally famous hit, “Goodnight Sweetheart,” was on the top ten country charts. I have also opened up for Blake Shelton, Jon Secada, Riders in the Sky, Martina McBride, Juice Newton, Delbert McClinton, Dwight Yoakum, and the Bellamy Brothers. In addition, have opened up for and performed with Johnny Rodriguez on multiple occasions.
When you listen to one of Lee's tracks, you're getting organic milk and vegetables grown with love by the farmer himself. Not some corporate-produced advertising project meant to sell billions of units with a barcode. With his music, all of the cows roam the open prairie and are grass fed with no mass-marketing preservatives to keep them fresh. His vegetables are lovingly cared for by the farmer himself, not by high-tech robotic equipment and irrigating devices. No pesticides are sprayed by the corporate executives (who regularly have things like 20 million dollar Christmas bonuses and seven vacation homes). The bugs in his musical garden are butterflies and lady bugs, and his pesticides are loving spiders (like the one in Charlotte's Web).
Every sound you hear in his music is created by Lee without the distractions and artistic distortions that occur when things are performed by committee. He is never going to break up with himself, and he will keep creating new sounds until he is dead. The sounds you hear are the magical children to which he has given birth. The music on this website is the result of his life's work. For every tune that you hear, there are dozens more that didn't make the cut. The little songs in this humble abode in cyberspace are the cream of the crop and the very best that Lee has to offer to humanity.

Even when he was a young boy, Lee excelled at the creative arts and was always producing new types of artistic concoctions that sought to push the edge of what was acceptable to society. Always a free spirit, Lee was never intimidated by the established authorities in the creative realms of the humanities because his unique gifts of empathic insight along with his above average intellectual abilities allowed him to detect many of the shortfalls present within these realms. He knew when any type of given entity was being fraudulent or dishonest. He knew these things both instinctively and intuitively.
Caring not for the correct etiquette that was required by most of the artistic fields of knowledge, he always possessed an uncanny ability to be able to sort out the wheat from the chaff and digest the necessary parts of various creative disciplines and disregard the frivolous elements. As a result, his absorption of knowledge from many of these areas of expertise could be accommodated in a more sustained manner that involved a faster uptake of relevant data while the detailed minutia that was irrelevant was identified and discarded. Due to this exceptional ability to glean knowledge from multiple artistic disciplines, Lee was able to combine many new types of creative conceptualizations. Viewing many of the rants and diatribes of the twentieth century artists and philosophers as gibberish, Lee has always sought out true knowledge that cuts directly into the soul and possesses a valid practicality that can be converted into empathy. It is this type of substantive material that was always desired. It is this type of substantive material that was found and subsequently retained.
The philosophy of the 20th and 21st centuries was below par, and the aesthetic quality of a substantial percentage of the artistic realms had deteriorated into infantile dilettantism. With few notable exceptions (such as Dahli, Gershwin, Stravinsky, and Debussy), most of the art created after the early 1900's was laden with the stench of juvenile amateurism. Many artists now feel they should bypass the traditional techniques that require hours of discipline and skip straight to the inspirational moment without having paid the proper dues necessary to produce something possessing true aesthetic worth.Lee was all too aware of this horrendous phenomenon that permeated not only the fine arts but also the commercial and modern cultural standards present within modern day society. Because of this travesty and the academic institutions that enforced it, Lee was destined to be an independent creative individual that would continually seek out new ways of pushing the boundaries of the aesthetic realms.
In order to accomplish this task within the realms of musical expertise, Lee not only became proficient on several instruments but also learned music theory and ear training at age 12, so he could combine all of the creative sensibilities inherent in possessing all of these disciplines. First, Lee received instruction on the saxophone (tenor, baritone, and alto) in grade school and then received private piano, saxophone, and music theory instruction outside of his school's musical department. Lee also taught himself guitar, bass, flute, clarinet, and drums while still in his early teens and began writing and recording with a multi-track recorder while still in junior high school. Winning medal after medal in saxophone and vocal performance competitions, Lee especially excelled at ear training and music theory competitions. Lee placed first in state competitions for music theory and ear training his junior and senior years in high school, and he received a $5,000 scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music where he tested out of over half a dozen semesters of music theory and ear training courses.
Lee went on to earn a living professionally in music for many years. He played in several different house bands and toured on the road with many different groups as he traveled all over the country. He then went back to college and earned a degree in English; his GPA was 3.84. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of Gamma Beta Phi and Phi Theta Kappa. After pursuing graduate studies for a few semesters, he began his professional career as a freelance writer working for many different companies before teaming up with Wes Kussmaul (the man responsible for bringing the world its first online encyclopedia) in order to promote the virtues of PKI technology. Needless to say, he has accumulated more real-world experience and true knowledge of humanity than most people accumulate in a lifetime.
Due to his ever-youthful appearance, dimples, naturally curly hair, and a deep bass-baritone voice, he attracts attention wherever he goes. Standing fully erect at six feet and three inches, Lee's stature is such that he instantly commands attention whenever he walks into a room. However, he is not concerned with his above average physical size or his above average mental abilities...
Lee is concerned with peace.
The only thing that matters now to humanity is peace. Peace allows for the development of nations and individuals. Peace allows for the development of the arts and sciences.
Peace allows for the continuous ecstasy of the soul.

Emotional peace defines the true nature of inner beauty. Almost everyone possesses this gift to at least some degree because there is an unlimited supply of the raw elements needed to create it. If you are currently alive, then you have all of the requirements that are needed. Inner beauty begins by being emotionally honest with yourself, and it evolves by releasing the chains of fear and anger that enslave your spirit. Accepting these negative emotions makes it easier for you to convert them into something beautiful.
If the sources of your hatred and rage are found and better understood, it becomes easier to find potential solutions because your negative emotions will not have the element of surprise. Their powers are not nearly as overwhelming as they would have been had they emerged from a cloak of darkness. This exposure can be a tremendous aid all by itself. Once these bonds are managed more effectively, it becomes possible to develop your inner beauty by producing artistic and scientific creations.
In addition, your inner beauty is strengthened by resonating with those who have large amounts of this sacred gift. However, it is difficult for someone to give you instructions about how to improve your inner beauty because the best way to develop it is for someone to serve as an example.
Strengthening Your Will

There are several things you can do to make your will stronger. First, you should be free from the distractions of the lower chakras. To do this, you need to have a strong command of your emotional energies so that the lower frequencies can be accommodated effectively; this will make you more self-reliant. Next, you should isolate yourself from the emotional energies of group magnetisms. This allows your will to grow in a more unencumbered manner.
In addition, you should have moral guidelines firmly in place. This is because correct philosophical motives will promote the strengthening of your will. If these things are firmly imbedded within the empathic regions of your soul, then you may be able to gain a stronger will that is more capable of withstanding elevated levels of emotional assault.
However, these guidelines must be correctly defined by you for you. You should also be aware that many pre-packaged spiritual belief systems attempt to provide these emotional tools. However, they are not always effective because most people have not taken the time to adjust these sorts of dogmatic commands into a set of customized philosophical guidelines. However, once you have firmly established the details of your moral compass, your will could begin to grow at a faster rate as you digest larger and larger amounts of experience and knowledge.
Merging Spirituality and Science

You may be a scholar that separates science and spirituality, but have you ever considered that science could be thought of as a form of spirituality, and spirituality could be thought of as a science. The key is to define the terms science and spirituality in a way so that they can be perceived as being a matching set of interrelated disciplines. By doing this, you can pursue paths that may lead to more discoveries.
So let us examine various definitions of the word spirituality because most people have similar definitions for the word science. Spirituality is often thought of as the essential element of existence that is related to the eternal soul. It is also associated with a type of vital energy that is essential to life. Some define the spirit as the soul, and some separate these words into two different concepts. Others define spirituality as being religious in nature while others claim that they are spiritual but not religious (the word religion is also associated with a large multiplicity of meanings). Therefore, it might be prudent to think of spirit as an essence that does not exist on an atomic level. Of course, there are many who might disagree with this notion as well.
Thus, for the purposes of this article, spirituality will be considered to be within the realms of reality that cannot be measured by physics but can still be studied on a scientific level. We can now establish different types of links between science and spirituality. Science attempts to discover new things that have yet to be explained, and spirituality seeks to answer questions about things that exist in realms that often seem to be unfathomable if approached in certain ways.
Therefore, we have both spirituality and science seeking to answer questions about the unknown. This pursuit of knowledge makes science and spirituality similar in nature and reinforces the idea that the two concepts are two terms are related, so it would seem logical that we focus on the creative process itself so that new discoveries in art, spirituality, and science can be found.
The Spirituality of Education

Learning is spiritual because it is just as important for your soul as it is for your intellect.
So when you take learning to the highest level, and elements of knowledge become empathic, you make a spiritual connection to the metaphysical realms. You should also be aware that knowledge distribution between teacher and student have been substantially enhanced because of the creation of new methods of information transmission. When you are aware of more things that are relevant, you will develop a far more universal understanding about knowledge and empathy.
By absorbing knowledge to the point where it becomes comfortably familiar, your intuitive faculties will grow in a way that does not use superstitious speculation and whimsical fancy. This empathic development will allow for the creation of more new abilities. As these new talents are discovered and nurtured, they will eventually be developed into tools that will benefit all of humanity. As the beauty of this new paradigm continues to grow, it will be the inspiration for many new visions of peace.
