On the Acquisition of Inner Beauty

by Lee Duane FitzSimmons

The key to acquiring inner beauty is the elimination of fear. In order to accomplish this feat, it becomes necessary to accept the fear so that it can be further analyzed. Once any sort of fear has been acknowledged within an individual, it becomes easier to convert this fearful energy into something beneficial. Achieving this conversion may be a very difficult thing to accomplish; however, if the problem is found and better understood, then it becomes easier to find potential solutions. When more solutions can be found, more solutions can be attempted. Thus, it becomes more possible to find something that might actually work.

When a source of fear is acknowledged and accepted by the individual, it loses at least some of its potency because it no longer has the element of stealth or surprise. When this exposed cause of fear does raise its head, it is something that is known. Thus, its power is not nearly as overwhelming as it would have been if it had emerged from a cloak of darkness. This exposure of fear can be a tremendous aid all by itself. Thus, the fear is now a lamb that dances openly in the meadows and is no longer a lost sheep that cannot be found.

Spring by John Collier

When most instances of fear within the existence of an individual are not allowed to permeate the fabric of the psyche, the true essence of inner beauty can be more easily felt by an individual and seen by others. Thus, it could be reasoned that the conversion of fear into something that promotes beneficial results is the key that allows for the full aesthetic glory of a person's essence to shine in its most brilliant state. The inner beauty of a person is the balance that allows for a true freedom from fear.

This balance allows for true peace.
