On the Universal Power of Truth
by Lee Duane FitzSimmons
The simple omniscient power of truth is a mighty force that cannot be denied. There is no effective way to deal with its overwhelming strength. While temporary fortifications and makeshift ramparts can temporarily withstand its vicious onslaught, they cannot endure against its almighty energy. Even when the perception of most of the populace has deteriorated to an extremely poor state, the pure and omniscient nature of truth will still find a way to permeate the fabric of perceived reality. Truth is the greatest thing in the universe; truth is the universe.
Unfortunately, there have been many empires that have relied on religious and spiritual paradigms that subvert and distort basic truth in order to maintain privilege for the ruling class that is currently in power. When these kinds of inferior devices are used, there is always an extreme risk that the paradigms of belief will fail or weaken and the house of cards built by the deceitful paradigms will fall. This sort of destruction will do substantial harm to the empire and possibly even cripple it to the point where it collapses into a state of anarchy. There is also the risk that the empire could be overthrown by a greater political entity if the false spiritual paradigm cannot be maintained in a sufficient manner.
An Allegory of Time Unveiling Truth by Jean Francois de Troy (1733)
Therefore, it behooves any empire that wishes to remain intact that it not rely on any sort of false spiritual and/or religious belief system in order to preserve and maintain its ultimate political authority. If it does rely on such primitive techniques to gain privilege for its ruling class, then such techniques will need to be phased out gradually over an extended period of time so that no sudden disruptions will hinder the political system currently in place. Otherwise, the mighty sword of truth will reveal its all-powerful blade and destroy everything that opposes its almighty force. However, if the false paradigms can be replaced before this onslaught occurs, then the empire can maintain its stability and continue its existence without the constant risk of its spiritual paradigms collapsing.
Once the truth is accepted as the empire's spiritual and religious paradigm, the probability that a lasting peace will endure increases exponentially. Once the truth is accepted, the logical perceptions and intellectual abilities of the populace will increase dramatically. Once the truth is accepted, the empire's foundational strength is fortified immensely.
Once the truth is accepted, it is no longer an enemy of the state and instead becomes an empire's greatest ally.
