LYRICS

What would you say? Where would you go? Right back to the knowing, right back to the clear...

Your time is here. You know its near. Away, away, inside of the you. Inside of the you.

What would you know? Where would you be? Right back to the knowing, right back to the clear...

Your time is here. You know its near. Away, away, inside of the you. Inside of the you.

What would you do? How would you feel? Right back to the knowing, right back to the clear...

Your time is here. You know its near. Away, away, inside of the you. Inside of the you.

This sensible rock/pop offering gives the listener a thickly orchestrated song with two different types of vocal presentations. The verses present a warm baritone vocal asking several questions, while the chorus features a screaming tenor vocal proclaiming its message that is ever-so-sweet.. The acoustic guitars strum continuously throughout the number, and the orchestral strings join in for the chorus to accent the lead vocal. A piano adds some carefully placed syncopated high notes in the intro and the chorus, and the organ fills out the overall complexion of the number by fattening up the midrange. The intro, verse, and chorus are presented three times and then the song fades.

The word "its" is deliberately spelled without an apostrophe, because it is meant to serve as a possessive pronoun and not as a contraction. This tiny adjustment radically alters the meaning of the lyrics from what would be the common perception.

Oftentiems, many people look to external things to solve problems; however, all that is usually needed is to look inside oneself. This is a simple and universal message that has been proclaimed over and over throughout the centuries, but it never hurts to hear it again...

...so that it will never ever be forgotten.
