The verses of this rock ballad contain stereo electric guitars playing long tones and stereo acoustic guitars strumming rhythmic chords. A passionate baritone vocal delivers the poetic lines as the piano fills in the gaps of the vocal performance. The chorus features a high falsetto vocal that is emphasized by orchestral textures, as the electric guitars begin playing a more rhythmically active figure and the piano becomes far more active with its arpeggiated tones. Three verses are performed and the piece fades as the chorus is repeated.

Wondersound Infusion is about the stimulation of the imagination through sound. When the eyes are closed and the mind is allowed to focus solely on aural sensory input without distraction from the visual, the imagination fills the void and allows the mind of the perceiver to create all types of images. Different types of music and sound can spark this type of imaginative creation, which is expressed in this rock ballad as "Wondersound Infusion."
