Grey is the place where black flows back into the white. Grey is where white creeps back into the shadow. It is the conjunction of the two most extreme colours that bypasses the color spectrum and allows for an alternate flow of prismatic dimensional energy.
The etymology of Kalliope’s name is formed from the same biliteral root as Kleio’s. Thus, Kalliope is the next octave of completion. She is usually depicted as holding a pen and a scroll or tablet, so she can record the essence of the newly formulated inspiration that has been created in the heavenly genetic code. Her realm of grey is the portal to the next dimensional paradigm that flows either in parallel or in opposition to the dimension that gave it birth.
These energies flow from their grey home into the black night of Urania, where they may or may not create a new formulation, or they can be channeled into the most brilliant white light of Kleio, where they most certainly will be used to further fathom the great foretold visions of future notions and endeavors. So Kalliope must be able to function as both scribe and witness to the new creations that she has created, whether they go into the black night of heavenly Urania or into the white light of Kleio's morn. Either way, Kalliope’s gentle art of muse-creation must continually produce new wonders to behold.
The energies of Kalliope’s new genetic creations thereby resonate throughout the solar system as they provide a new level of dimensional paradigms to all of the spectral realms of her sister muses. Unlike the spectral energies presided over by the other muses, Kalliope’s currents can be spread to any of her fellow sisters colored kingdoms with equal ease and eloquence. By anointing the other spectral realms with her new genetic paradigms, Kalliope magically transforms the creative hues of her maiden sisters by giving them her enchanted scrolls that contain new cosmic chromosomal content.
