A live Gemeinhardt flute presents the simple, yet lively melody that is the center of this work. It is accompanied by live congas, sleigh bells, triangle, and a live acoustic guitar. When this magical elven melody is repeated, the kick drum enters, providing the heart beat that will provide the solid foundation of this composition until it fades. A live bass guitar then enters playing long tones. When the melody is presented for a third time, ambient chords and a snare enter and a whole new dimension of sound is added to the work, as the bass begins a syncopated line of arpeggios that synchronizes perfectly with the melodic structure of the flute. When the melody repeats for a fourth time, a contrapuntal line performed by a bold French horn section completes the piece, which then fades out.
