Like its Eastern counterpart, this symbol is a negative yin symbol of the passive nocturnal feminine. Its elemental designation is water and its quality is cardinal. It possesses the same coordinates of the ecliptic as does the Eastern sign of the rabbit, however, its yearly domain of influence is from June 23 to July 22 in the tropical system and from July 16 to August 15 in the sidereal system.
