On the Misinterpretation of Metaphor

One of the biggest factors involved with the overwhelming ignorance of the current civilization on Terra is the misinterpretation of the metaphors found in a large number of the ancient tales. The main reason why so many of these metaphors are either deliberately or unintentionally obscured and/or misconstrued is due to the highly subjective nature of the topics to which these metaphors allude. These topics include kundalini energy and spirituality. These topics of discussion are often the cause of great anxiety and fear.

Humanity's fear of its own sexuality is the predominant reason why these metaphors are misunderstood. This situation exists because of the deep emotional anguish that so many members of the human species have buried deep within their psyches. Quite often, these fears are unknown because many individuals deny that they have them; however, they are still there. In addition, when certain elements of these fears are overcome, new aspects of these fearful elements could surface and make themselves known.

The most effective types of deceit and diversion are those that feed upon themselves. Such is the case with the kundalini energies and human sexuality. The perceptive faculties of the human mind often serve as a buffer to keep the conscious minds of many busy with other areas of human endeavor, so they will not be subject to the mental and emotional trauma that often accompanies various manifestations of the kundalini energies.

Thus, the only true aspects of the occult wisdom are those aspects that keep themselves hidden...
