This suave Latin jazz number features Lee's smooth vocal stylings and some very elegant flute lines performing the 6th and 9th tensions of the tonal center that moves up and down by a half step. The piece consists of an A and a B section. The A section has two parts. A main part that occurs at the beginning and end of the A section and a middle part. The B section features the entrance of a vibraslap, wind chimes, and claves. The B section also features a descending melody line that moves by half steps. This type of chromatic motion is consistent throughout the entire piece.
The lyrics express the feminine energies of Luna and Venus as the green energy of Mars is transformed by Luna into turquoise (cyan). The turquoise of Terra (notice the etymological similarity of these two terms) is then terraformed into the blue frequencies of Venusian copper. Thus, the entire essence of the metamorphosis that is expressed by the lyrics of this tune embraces the power of the feminine currents that permeate the very fabric of the cosmos.
