Drums, ride cymbal, and bongos - Lee Fitzsimmons

This wonderfully simple rock track starts with a very catchy drum groove that is complimented with perfectly articulated conga rhythms. A Fender Rhodes then enters (accented with china crash cymbal hits) and the introductory section with acoustic guitar and bass begins. After four bars, the four bar A section starts and is followed by the B section that features more sustained tones and a ride cymbal. These two sections then repeat and are followed by an eight bar C section that features the acoustic playing some long sustained chords. The overall form sans the the introduction then repeats. A coda then follows and the piece ends.

This song is meant to invoke simple pleasures and joys from the listener by using the most obvious and simple musical tools that have been proven to produce pleasant effects on the ears. There are no creative surprises or quirky musical devices, only nice and aesthetic tonal colors meant to deliver a pleasant listening experience.
