that is commonly known as Libra. This sign is generally considered to be a lady holding a set of scales. Like its Eastern counterpart, this symbol is a positive yang symbol of the active diurnal energies. Its elemental designation is air and its quality is cardinal. It possesses the same coordinates of the ecliptic as does the Eastern sign of the horse; however, its yearly domain of influence is from September 23 to October 22 in the tropical system and from October 16 to November 15 in the Jyotish system.
